ISTAR stands for Indiana Standards Tool for Alternate Reporting. In an effort to provide your child with the highest standard of care, demonstrate our dedication to quality and monitor the developmental progress of your child through the use of ISTAR-KR assessment tool. It is a rating instrument that has been developed through the leadership of the Indiana Department of Education.
ISTAR was created for children birth to graduation. ISTAR will measure your child’s successes and support the planning of meaningful experiences based on an analysis of strengths and needs
ISTAR conferences are held bi-annually to assist parents and teachers in planning educational opportunities.
